No.

32. When you are taking abord ship crew to you crew the rest of them will be on ship if your number limit is over.

Before ver 1002 this rest was deleted

For sure it shall work under this version irrespectfully the difficulty level. In the previous versions they were "written off" and you cjould do nothing with it.

It seems to me, your question is about skills, not characteristics.
Officers performance ( I mean guys you can meet, and employ in tavern) grows according to the hero's one. So "potential employees" for high-level hero have about 90-100 points within their skills. That works for NPCs' as well...

How the treasure generator works in this version?

After 3,5 year treasure hunt( in game) and lots of maps - i have 14 mustetoons and 8
golden body armors (second level maps). no swords,sculls, rat gods or over + items Its starts to get a little boring.
And i dont use S/L to get wanted item.

I think it's your own luck With SPECIAL in this version, treasure generator works a little different, but wasn't change any global things in it.

I've got a couple of questions that I'm hoping someone will be able to help me with.

Firstly, is there a manual for the new version of the mod? My understanding of Russian is minimal so I'm eagerly awaiting the English translation of the mod. So far I've managed to get by quite well and have been helped by my translated version of the old manual. Now obviously many things have changed so I'm wondering if there is an updated version of the manual as well? Even if it's in Russian I can translate.

Secondly, is there long term injury for your character and if so how do you fully recuperate if at all? I've noticed that after a lot of personal combat, having taken many hits which have been restored by health potions, the health bar on my character screen (the red heart) sometimes diminishes and that I can restore this to some extent by resting and sleeping it off at a tavern. However, it doesn't seem to fully restore. I've noticed that originally this health bar description was "Splendid" and more recently "Good". Sometimes it would drop to "Middle" after I'd done a lot of fighting and taken alot of hits, however resting at a tavern would restore it to some extent. Now I can't seem to raise it out of "Middle" again, no matter how much I rest. Is this pemanent health damage or is there something else I need to be doing?

If your health bar is gold colored, then you have to go to the church, to the priest. He will help you to restore your helth back to "Splendid". Sometimes for full restore you will have to visit few priests.

I would correct my "brother in arms":
If the health description word is written by gold letters, then your “duty” is to visit a priest. It’s quite expensive and doesn’t bring dramatical improvement.
In addition, if your hero regularly suffers with a serious damage, it results losses of health-points forever. Then neither priests, nor relaxing in a tavern will restore hero’s “virgin conditions”…

Regarding the manual… Unfortunately (fortunately? ) we have no this even in Russian. The only thing is FAQ. AlexusB announces all innovations of the new version in «Анонсы нового» topic. So you can find them there and try to translate.

There are also in addition new town models and crew for the boat. But without them you can play too.

As far as i know english version is not ready yet. Check out this topic from time to time and you will not miss it.

A have all this section completely distorted what about fonts concerns on my computer . But I have downloaded already something from the past. Could you please write here what is the procedure of the installation of this Add-On ? I would tried it anyway I know a little russian from the past but I forgot many words already.

What is your current version? See the right-bottom corner of the main-menu screen

I corrected all on my computer - the coding and fonts everything is displaying correctly now. I think I have downloaded the newest version of your Add-On. But I don´t know exactly how it install into the basic game. Just now I am playing my English version with Build 12.1 and the newest Modpack. Immediately after I will play out my current game I would like to install you russian Add-On and try it. I think I will like it very much.

I see. So when you're fed up with the current game you should uninstall it firstly.
Then install the game again without any modes you have.

After that dowload files
- data1.slb 2.8 Мб
- data2.slb 68 Мб
- data_upd2.slb 14 Мб
- data_upd3.slb 1 Мб
- data3.slb 1.8 Мб
- setup.rar 0.26 Мб
and put them into one folder.

Then extract setup.rar, and run setup_addon.exe (there the installer'd like you to put the way to the folder with game. Just do it).

Probably you need also to download Russian fonts and extract them into Resource folder. File with the fonts is below above-mentioned files and named "pусские шрифты".

Then open "config" to well tune the game and save changes you made.

A little advice... Before you start the game you'd better to back up the following files:
memory.mp and options. They're quite sensitive and might be damaged, if you were in the game very long time without "coffee breaks".
