I think that you should only develop English version or english and in background russian. There are lots of russian players, but there are more players that want to play english version. The international language is english and everything. No offence, but this is my opinion.

Would somebody kindly repost a link to the english translation of Sea Legend is Back? The one that Alexus has earlier in this thread is broken and gives an error every time I try to open it.

Totaly translate of all dialogs was lost and I have no copy.

If you realy need it PM to delamer at this forum, he was in charge for it to test and combine text and script.
But at begining of 2006 we start KVL (SLiB on Storm-2.5 Engine) and totaly stop translation.

We all waiting a official relise of the game City of Abandoned Ships but it is not happen yet

It's too bad the translation was lost. Many folks here in the west were really looking forward to playing it in English.

Perhaps the english community will be able to work on it eventually.

We too are looking VERY forward to City of Abandoned ships.

One of the questions we have about CoAS is whether or not the programs directory will be completely unlocked so we can modify the game at will. We would really like to be able to move the Build mod over to City of Abandoned Ships.

We have found translation of Dialogs file!
So it will be soon for test (it is not working correctly need to check error.log)

Ok. Version is corrupt by Word So it is not playable but testable

Damski, apparently things are coming along for CoAS, there is a new site on the Playlogic website I just noticed earlier today. So apparently Playlogic will be the distributor once again.

Aye, I realize the English language version is due this quarter. But I'm interested in having copies of the games, both Sea Legend is Back(as far as I can tell, it will never be released in english) and City of Abandoned Ships in the original Russian, so I can do side by side comparisons of text and gameplay to see if the English language version had anything taken out or changes other than correctly translated text.

I don't trust the US censors/companies to do a complete translation of all quests or abilities in the game. I keep being worried they will remove much just like they did when they released PotC and AoP in english.

I'd like to have it in the original language it was written in to do direct comparisons.

I hope that makes sense.

Ah, yes. Thank you AlexusB. That is the one I was thinking of now that you mention it. The reason I want to purchase them if I can is so you guys get the money you deserve for the work you did on the games.

Hetman, I think, its high time to create an English version of the webpage. At least we need an English interface for the website to be visitable by Belarusian history interested non-Belarusian and non-Russian speakers. It also would be nice to start gathering literature about Belarusian history in English language.
How possible would the whole be?

I have a problem

Game - City of Abandoned Ships (russian version) patched.
last patch 1.2.4 FT

No problems until - Inkas city - Teno - diving in labyrinth - black screen - can see only oxygen counter.
in 1.2.3 all was normal.

Whats the problem?

I think black screen can be result of wrong installation of patch. Commonly it happens when some files are mising.
