Hi Jack and others. At last I somehow established myself in the game as Jack Sparrow. These parameters of the game can´t be even exchange even if you start new game for the second time, but I stored my important files before first playing, so I exchanged them and only then I could exchange these two parameters in the game. This game is really completely different from Builds versions but it it looks very professionally. I think I will like it but I have to become used to it. What hero do you play? I started as Sparrow and then Will Turner but in the end the game with Sparrow hero as corsair seemed to me easier for starting the game. I must only learn how to play this Add-On and everything will be good. I like all these maps. And did you registered Jack how for example is Hispniola large? I almost got lost in the jungle.

Something happened with my game and I can´t to land at any coast when I am on the map. The button stop working and I don´t know what to do with it. Can you help me?

I had to reinstall all the game and I am playing new game again. 

First: did you try to land before?
Second: to land at any island you have to reach the island when there is a symbol with palms in the right bottom corener of the map. After that leave the map pressing the button. Check: which button should be used in "game adjustments" ("Настройки игры"). There is a bar which is used to change adjustments of the game check it. Get to ordinary picture with the ship etc. Choose the location pressing "enter". In the right bottom corner you will see several icons. First two usually belong to then fort and port of the town. Choose the port. Press the same button again and choose the icon with an anchor. You will be ashore.

Hi Strelok. The reason lies in anything else. I am a regular player of PoTC and Builds so I know how the game should work and be played. But my game became broken somehow. I reinstalled it and everything is OK again. But it seems to me this Add-On is a little unstable and quite vulnerable , at least at my computer.

Unfortuntely it is one of limitations of the engine: it accumulates the remaining "tails" of the removed "save" and "load" files overloading file "options". If you try to check the volume of the files when you replace them again you will see that the volume of file "options" sometimes exceeds 1 full megabite. Because of it the game rate become exceptionally slow. Have a good time!

Sorry, Rad! Tried to help as I could. Perahaps you try to ask this question from add-on team members. They should know it better. I am just a player as you are. I hope that after reinstallation the game shall be fine.

Hi, Strelok. Thank you for your help, I appreciate it very much. I resolved this my problem with reinstalling of the game and it works well again. It isn´t so difficult matter if I know now how to do it.

The limit seems to be lower than in the standard game, which I can live with; but even now when some spaces are freed up (by my officers meeting unfortunate fates) I can't hire anyone new. I always end up telling them I have a full complement (полный комплемент), even though I'm down to only two officers in my ranks. Помогите!

Value of Charisma (Обаяние) is too low.
May be two reasons:
1. When you start the game and generate your hero skills, this value must be so high, so it's possible if you want to hire more ofiicers.
2. Class of your ship is too high for your navigation skill, than you have penalty in all SPECIAL skills.

Is it possible to hire some of the captured enemy captains? So far I keep holding them for ransom, but it causes a dramatic fall of my reputation...

Yes, you can hire captured captains as your officers. You need to talk with them

But how do I talk with the captains? Do I need to have certain reputation or something? Because I can see them in the "passengers" screen and thats it. No talking, no nothing...

They are in the hold of yor ship.
Also you can turn them away, when your ship is near any island
It's the best method to take good reputation.
